I have heard the soundtrack several times and I watched it live in San Francisco but nothing, nothing compares to watching the original cast. I knew what would happen and I still cried. Exhilarating, fantastic music, exceptional lyrics, moving and extremely satisfying!

I had always loved to listen to Hamilton with my family in long car rides and around the house, but seeing it was a whole new level of enjoyment.
The Cinematography and the Choreography were what really made the show fantastic for me. I loved how many of the extras did the parts of stage crew within the dancing they had in specific songs.
The entire play was authentic and original. The singing was not auto-tuned as so much of the music is today.
Throughout this play/movie a wide range of emotions were conveyed as well. There was humor (especially with the King George songs) sadness (largely at the end of the showing) and triumph (winning the battle of Yorktown.
The writing was genius in which the introductory melody was used with different words throughout the play, as well. The finale had a similar thing where many of the songs played a part and many different words were reused in a genius way. I loved this and would watch it again. I am sad that due to coronavirus this musical is not still being performed live, but would like to see it when possible.
