So, i've been driving in alot of snow lately and I was wondering is driving in a lower gear better for safe snow driving? I drive an automatic and the Full disclaimer: My experience in driving manual transmission cars is very limited. So, if you expect to have to drive in snow or ice, manual is safer. Basically the higher the gear is, the less torque there is going to the wheels. So when you're driving and it's rainy or of its snowy or icy and you feel like (any ideas on how much?) Do y'all have any other tips for manual/RWD snow driving? Oh, yeah, it's freaking fun, too. Make sure your headlights aren't covered. Always use them. Seatbelt. Defrost, don't try driving with iced windows. Don't drive panicked.I am so scared to drive on snowy roads but I have no choice. Can any of you give me some tips? Check your manual.
