Judo in Tsiroanomandidy       遠征：チルノマンディディ

I went to Tsiroanomandidy to teach judo to judokas today.
Tsiroanomandidy is very popular about zebu which is cow with a hump.

柔道指導のため首都から西へ２００ｋｍ以上離れた町チルノマンディディに到着しました。
この町には、過去にJICAの協力隊員が沢山活動していて、柔道隊員も２名続けて合計４年間柔道指導をしていました。

ここにある柔道クラブは連盟所属ではなく、Judo in Schoolに属する小さなクラブですが、過去に隊員が活動していたクラブであること、当時、先輩隊員に指導を受けた生徒が現在２３歳の若さでこのクラブを率いていることもあり、遠征させて頂きました。

He is Mbola who has a responsibility of this judo club.
He has been taught judo by two volunteers of JICA here about ten years ago.

A dojo is in a part of school. The dojo has real tatamis.


ここにも古いとは言え、畳がありました。Judo in Schoolには、必ず日本から送られた畳があるので、２０、３０年前に盛んに行われていたことが想像できます。

We started teaching judo for kids this evening.


昼に到着し、ブラ先生と打ち合わせをして、平日の今日は夕方から早速稽古を始めました。１０歳未満のチビッ子中心の指導です。
