Obviously this is the short version of the book, but that's true of most movies based on books. As a summation of a long, varied, often messy life, the movie is of necessity elliptical and often messy. But it evokes that life marvelously.

As I watched the Glorias of various ages discussion events with one another, I was reminded how often I do that with my selves of other ages. (I'm old enough that most of those other selves are younger than I am now.) One of those younger selves remembers that Newsweek cover photo.

The occasional flights of psychedelic call out the flights that our emotions take at times of stress, connecting us to the central character far more surely than would dialog or exposition.

The thread of a life and a movement kept me engaged. I had to break my viewing but always wanted to get back ASAP.

The glorias 2020 full movie hd 1080p. The glorias full movie. This film is an interesting take on a biopic, blending elements of realism with more fantastical sequences set in Gloria's imagination. With references to The Handmaid's Tale, Wizard of Oz and more, these metaphorical inserts may not be for everyone but I felt they enriched the story. It features stellar performances from Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander, with appearances from Janelle Monae and Bette Middler.
I almost didn't watch this because I saw what a low score it had, and yet it seems this is perhaps to do with political leanings. Regardless of where your political views lie, this is an interesting look at an influential woman, and a beautifully made, entertaining film with a brilliant cast. The appearance of Gloria Steinem herself at the end was a particularly moving way to complete this intimate look at her life.

The Glorias 2020 Full Movie hd 1080p. My husband and I absolutely loved this movie, however I suggest watching this in two goes as it is a long movie.
What a wonderful montage of Gloria Steinems remarkable life to date. Creative scenes in which she talks to older or younger versions of herself. Interjections of artistic anime scenes keep things light.
Wonderful depiction of all of the forward thinking women from every background and walk of life pushing for equal rights.
Truly inspiring film.
