The film was shot in various locations in Malaysia. The scenes were shot in Penang, Port Dickson, Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur.
The film was released on DVD on 23 October 2011 under the title "Close My Eyes" (2011) by Aries Film. The film was also released nationwide.The film premièred at the 25th Tokyo International Film Festival and was screened on 28 October 2010. At the festival, it received two nominations: Best Asian Future Film and FIPRESCI Prize for Asian Future Films, but did not win any awards. The film premièred in Malaysia on 4 November 2010 at the Empire Damansara and Grand Piazza Mall. The film was also presented for the first time in Germany on 7 September 2011 as part of the "Kuala Lumpur – eine Stadt sucht das Glück" event at the 51st International Short Film Festival Oberhausen . The film premiered at the 25th Golden into the Future Film Festival, which was held in Taipei, Taiwan on 22 November 2011. The film was also screened at the 7th "Gad" International Film Festival at the Universtiy of Tokyo on 26 November 2011.The film was nominated for one award at the 24th OzAsia Awards for Best Asian Future Film, but lost to "Sukhumvit 1170".
