I can't believe it - Sentemul 2010 is out! The latest edition of the classic game is now available for download on my site. I've already put at least 30 hours into this game and I'm not done yet. It's amazing how much more immersive the gameplay is compared to last year's version; there are more options for using your money, the multi-player mode has some neat twists, and lots of other tweaks that make me feel like I'm playing a totally new game.So what are you waiting for? The goal of Sentemul 2010 is to build the largest empire possible by taking complete control of the entire playing field with 88 mutually exclusive city-states. The game is played on an 8x8 chessboard. Unlike last year's version, multi-player games are now supported through LAN or the internet.

What happened? Well, it is time for another review. After 15 hours I was still only half-way done with my first playthough. I have to admit, it's rather addictive and inspiring to see all those different plays coming together during your turn. I am quite pleased with the changes that were made to the game mechanics.The game's replayability is only limited by your stamina. It took me over two months to finish my first playthruh - most players probably won't be able to get through more than one playthough in six months. This is why I would strongly recommend playing this game with at least two players, preferably three or four. It definitely adds both depth and complexity to Sentemul 2010, but you will also need more than one computer to ensure that no single player is too dominant in any single session of play.

Sentemul 2010 (also known as SENTEMUL 2009) is a computer game for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, and BSD systems that was produced by Cyril Vasile in Romania in August 2006 and November 2007 respectively . It is a game where players build cities on a grid-like map with the goal of securing the largest land empire across the entire playing field by conquering all 88 city states simultaneously . The game was made open source software in January 2009, allowing all users to compile it for any platform without cost.On the forum, the player community discusses all aspects of the game.

Two playthroughts are currently available, one with 100 turns and one with 200 turns. Both playthroughts can be played with each other or against each other. The game is still under development, with new versions being released between August 2006 (1.0) and November 2007 (1.3) respectively . It is also available under GNU General Public License version 2 or later
