Boring and completely overrated.
I swear I'm going to stop watching movies backed by Hollywood generated hype. And Hollywood wonders why the overall domestic box office numbers keep going down despite inflation. It is because we, the people are told a movie is awesomely fantastic by media and paid off film critics (and now the ones on YouTube are paid off too) but once we watch the film, those of us with an independent thought process call it garbage while those people how are frankly sheep just mindlessly echo the Hollywood hype machine narrative until they wake up a few months later. I can list a million recent examples but I'll just jump right into reviewing this piece of overrated snoozefest.
The major issue with the film is that it is not an actual film. It comes off as a series of semi related 15 minute scenes within a single movie. And because of that, it becomes boring as all heck once you see the pattern of each scene. Basically it plays out like this; the kid or kids are chilling out doing whatever, almost as if they forgot about what just happened during the last scene. Then the clown comes as spooks them while failing to kill them almost all of the time. Literally that is the whole film.
