How do i upload torrent already downloaded

I had a torrent and I downloaded some files while skipping others. I now want to get some of the files I skipped last time but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. The settings are normally where you can set the folder that all files should be downloaded to. Torrent clients. Right-click the downloaded file or the in-progress download in the torrent client.
