yeah, i know this is a forge forums but really i don't know where else to ask my question. i'm trying to download optifine and whenever i click to start the aplication that installs optifine it opens a cmd window and immediately closes. i have the correct version of minecraft installed and i do have java installed too so i don't understand why it isn't working. java is up to date. Because that website has no ads on its own. The only ads you'd see when downloading Optifine from there is when you go through the bltadwin.ru pages. And those can be avoided by simply clicking the mirror links next to the download links, which skip bltadwin.ru altogether and just send you directly to the download page. Optifine is % safe and trustworthy as I've personally been using it for years and have had no problems with it. The people that claim it gave their computer a virus or that it stole their account are lying, or they downloaded a fraudulent version of optifine which genuinely did do those things.
