Why wont my tablet download pdf files

2021.11.01 12:32

Update to my previous post: I have an Asus Chromebook. Word worked decently for a while (see my lackluster review above), but suddenly it started demanding that I buy Office or else be forever stuck in Read Only mode. No explanation. No way around it. Nothing, just the new rule.  · Daily news and expert analysis on the latest developments in retail ecommerce. Data on top retailers in the world.  · As mentioned above, you are unable to download pdf files on your Android device, would it be possible if you can share the URL for the website you are trying to download pdf from? You may share the URL via private message. To send a private message, hover the mouse over person's user name and click Message. Thanks, Shivam.

To view a download, choose it from the list. The appropriate app is then opened so you can view the download. Should your tablet not have a Downloads app, you can choose the download notification to view the file. If prompted, choose an app to use for viewing, such as Gallery or Polaris Office, and then touch the Just Once button. and previously successful on the last PC, my mobile, tablet etc.. Last PC had Chrome then Opera. This has Microsoft Edge. Downloads work from Hotmail, so I can forward, then download with no problem. Can download files from net, eg a Microsoft exe file. Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File Properties Security.) Make sure that the PDF/A standard was not used to create the file. (Check for the Standards panel button in the Navigation pane.) If PDF/A was used, re-create the PDF without the PDF/A setting to allow reader-enabling.

If you have the app installed on your mobile and you still cannot open the PDF, the first thing of all is to update the app to the latest version and, if the failure persists, download the file again because, along the way, it has been damaged. The rep could not get his new S7 Edge to open a PDFs file and the S5 and S6 he had failed as well, only the S4 would open the PDFs file from a County website. I download recorded docs all the time from the site with my S4, my IPad and my wife's IPhone 6. The county has made no changes, and other PDFs from other sites failed with the S7 as well. When a browser like Chrome on Android gets a PDF link and offers you the ability to open the file in Acrobat it's only the URL that gets sent across to Acrobat, if the site you are loading the PDF from required a login to access the material when Acrobat requests the file, it may well be getting back a HTML login page instead of the PDF, which it can't render. This is why if you download the file first and then open it in Acrobat it all works fine.
