Windows 10 downloads dont finish

I recently reimaged my system and upgraded it to Windows build. After upgrading to Chromium Edge, I am unable to download anything using it. Suddenly today, i am having a problem where my files wont finish downloaded. They download all the way and then stop at either "connecting" or "rebuilding". i wait for a while (usually completes after 2 seconds), but nothing happens. I reinstalled idm to see if it was just an issue with jdownloader, but both are giving me problems.
