How to ignore chrome dangerous file download

2021.11.02 03:29

 · I tried to download a file recently on a Windows 10 Fall Creators Update system using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox, and could not because all blocked the file download because of a virus that was detected during the security scan. I had this problem and downloaded Chrome browser which worked without a problem. Chrome did ask me whether I wished to download a potentially unsafe file which I had arranged in MS Access and downloaded previously without the problem I experienced using Edge. I completed the task in 5 minutes.  · I tried to download the latest Ventoy release recently from the project's GitHub repository. Chrome, the browser that I used at the time, displays a notification in the download panel at the bottom of the browser window. Theoretically, even worse scenarios are possible: a computer’s infection with malware can happen through a website that uses one or another browser or plugin vulnerability. In this tutorial, we will see how to download files and visit web pages on Chrome that Google thinks are dangerous. For this, we will have to disable Google’s pre-installed security features, so you might want to be careful when you do this.
