I was prepared to hate this, but it's actually pretty funny. Fine NKOTB you win this time... 😂🤣.

As a gay man, my experience of first seeing this film on its release was that it must have been made by a committee of fanatical christian homophobic nutters intend on making a hate utterance. Obviously I was completely wrong; I was amazed other gay men seemed to enjoy it. I still don't understand film analysis is superficial and shows no understanding of current or past LGBT experience. I'm against the pc idea that only LGBT can comment on gay matters etc, but others had better be well-informed before sticking their head over the parapet. (ps, consult dictionary re. meaning of  'deflate.

I want to be Harold when Im his age. That joy only gays can bring. All the acting, of every single player, is exceptional. The story is like intentionally poking yourself in the eye with a sharp stick. Dysfunction, personal pain, and mutual abuse on parade, it is the train wreck from which you can not avert your eyes.
It's a Maury show, set to exceptionally good acting.

OMG I love this. 😁 It was like memory lane on steroids for me. I miss the 80's and 90's SO MUCH ❤️. The face andrew makes- WHY DO YOU HAVE TO HURT THE BABY. Must admit I saw Zachary, Jim, and Matt and just clicked play.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I'll cast it as a work of art. A beautiful piece. Well, worth the whole 2 hours,from start to finish. Hats off to Jim's performance.
Loved it. Zachary Quinto - two of THE BEST Lip Synch Battle performances of all time. For all the people acting like Netflix created this. IT IS A REMAKE. Thank you Netflix for updating this dated movie, the old version just looks and sounds too dated for me. And if it emphasizes some gay stereoptypes. So what. What a brilliant film, great cast and script. Recommend watching, its deep and insightful into the gay community in the 60's. All cast members were brilliant, excellent idea of having all gay cast, made it more realistic.

This movie was soo good. If this weren't a musical, I'd totally watch it. As I'm from the UK love the tribute to Take That at the end especially the watering can bit as the TT video was in the pouring rain  - just watched 'Back for Good' it was accurate.

The right actors were hired But the Director & Producer failed miserably! All the resources and they didn't come close. This only makes me want to watch the Original for the noteworthy acting and great cinematography to regain the 2 hours I Lost. Can we just appreciate that FINALLY we're getting gay actors for gay roles. Hey, everybody, gay time! LOL. If we didnt hate ourselfs so much That phrase it's so powerful, when you read the sipnosis this it's about gay men who in a crazy night decide fo face the true and back then in 1981 and today, being gay it's hard, and there's some point where you hate yourself for not belong or be that person that everyone thinks you should be, a straight male as the norm... Nice. Like wine, it gets better with age.

When you got it, you got it and with just a bit of effort, it takes a lot of years to lose it (barring some disease or accident of course. Talent never really dies, it just fades away if not exercised regularly, but if you have the dedication and the means, you can reclaim it at almost any age. That is my belief and this video just goes as evidence. But i think its more about the fabulous Delivery. Two things that have always boggled my mind about this film was #1, What did Michael write on Harold's gift. Harold only said it was 'something personal' Also why did Alan cry over the phone to Michael.
