Ps4 download doesnt download everything

PS4 won't download game updates but will download everything else So, my ps4 recently won't download any game updates, but will download games, let me party chat, and use other online features. When I try to download game updates it says "Cannot connect to server within the time limit. Answer (1 of 3): It bugged me out too at first but upon some serious monitoring and looking at my screen I figured it doesn't actually "restart" the whole download. What happens is that the system actually "installs" the downloaded files when the download gets paused/resumed which causes the dow.

Download and install the complete game packs or add-ons. To delete a game on your PS4: Go the Home screen.-Select Library.-Find and highlight the game you want to delete. So it's a MB download. But that will be totaled with + GB when you factor in ALL the downloads you ever made for that title. This is what the PS4 will count, rather than the measly MB.
