PS4 won't download game updates but will download everything else So, my ps4 recently won't download any game updates, but will download games, let me party chat, and use other online features. When I try to download game updates it says "Cannot connect to server within the time limit. The error you are seeing is one that pops up on the PS4 from time to time, it can be due to a number of things. If playing on a disc the first thing to do is check the disc for any scratches or smudges, I fixed the issue with one of my games a while back simply by giving the disc a wipe. Unable to unpause my game download I tried everything. I feel like I tried everything from rebuilding database, restarting download, restarting PS4, initializing my PS4, and trying the pause unpause but for honor keeps getting stuck on pause and I can't unpause it so it just has the pause icon on it and I can't do anything any fixes? Been.

Answer (1 of 3): It bugged me out too at first but upon some serious monitoring and looking at my screen I figured it doesn't actually "restart" the whole download. What happens is that the system actually "installs" the downloaded files when the download gets paused/resumed which causes the dow.



Download and install the complete game packs or add-ons. To delete a game on your PS4: Go the Home screen.-Select Library.-Find and highlight the game you want to delete. So it's a MB download. But that will be totaled with + GB when you factor in ALL the downloads you ever made for that title. This is what the PS4 will count, rather than the measly MB. You'll probably have to clear an extra 10GB of space to make up 80GB at least. It's a joke, frankly. Answer (1 of 2): I would do some basic trouble shooting, first restart your PS4. Second if that doesnt help try stopping the download uninstalling any downloaded files and restarting the download.
