What does my free amazon kindle app download fail

 · On my kindle it keeps saying amazon app store conmection failure and I am unable to play my free games. Is there an app that I can download onto my Kindle Fire that would allow me to type a response and the LAST NITE I WAS PLAYING GAMES AND WENT INTO THE APPS STORE AND WAS DOWNLOADING FREE APPS.
