Stream mp4 instead of downloading

There are videos id like to stream in browser so I dont have to go through the lengthy process or copying the video download link into vlc followed by the password each time I want to play a video without downloading it (which can get pretty tedious). Downloading from Stream www.doorway.ru format makes the file useless to add directly to a Sway. Sway will not accept www.doorway.ru file as a 'drag and drop' or as an embed. As an example, if I create a screen recording in Stream I cannot directly use it in Sway because it only downloads as www.doorway.ru Surely the incompatibility is an oversight? @kbaker I believe your Stream video will download as www.doorway.ru file type only when the Stream video hasn't finished 'rendering' or processing on page.
