A book I sort of forgot was originally written in French so it’s translated, but also indie, so here we are. The English edition was published in by Drawn Quarterly, translation was done by Helge Dascher. Diane Obomsawin is a Quebec-based author, illustrator and animated filmmaker, often known by her pseudonym, Obom. Some of her notable works have explored the issue of lesbian first love, including a graphic novel, published in French as J'aime les filles by L'Oie de Cravan and in English as On Loving Women by Drawn Quarterly.
