Misread the number, the reason you're getting crap speeds is because the non-premium Nexus servers are crap and frequently have connection issues. They don't care unless you pay. Oh, I understand now. User Info: MrMonkhouse.

No, its just the servers. Sometimes they're fine and you get max speeds even if you're a free member, other times they're just slow because there's too many people downloading at the same time or the servers are just slow for some reason. Why do people get into relationships again? Mine goes at KB's and you can be sure I don't pay for that.

Vortex doesn't cap download speed and it doesn't currently decide which server to download from, that's all handled by the server so we the Vortex Team are really the wrong people to contact about this. However, I've been looking into it and it appears that the Singapore server isn't currently made available to Vortex.

Thus if you selected Singapore as the download server on the website, Vortex gets told to download from the fallback "CDN" location which may be under way more load than the Singapore server and also, connections from Asia to Europe can be extremely like: ridiculously bad.

The web team is now looking into why Vortex isn't offered to dl from the Singapore location and hopefully that will be fixed soon. If you get similar problems in the future you may have more luck toggling between the different server locations continents in particular in the web preferences.

Sorry, something went wrong. I have fiber optics so I know it's not me. My home internet speed is not the problem. I purchased a premium membership and it made no difference to the speeds. Pinging files. Ping statistics for Please guys, slow downloads are not a client error. You have to report these to the web team if you want to get them fixed. Kept getting a timedout error. On top of that it causes my computer to crash.

What can I do to get the speed up. It is easier and quicker to just download mods direct through the game or download elsewhere and install manually. Checking Performance monitor shows zero network usage by the application when nothing else is using the network.

In this situation I'd like to think its not a internet issue with my provider Telstra internet but it wouldnt suprise me. If it was ISP throttling then id imagine more users would report this nor would it go away after a restart.

I have read through hundreds of complaints about the download speed and not one person has offered a solution nor has it been solved apparently. Steps to reproduce: Download a mod through Mod Manager Download, happening with every mod. I decided to just get premium to have no download cap. I have restarted vortex, restarted my pc and nothing seemed to have worked.

Download speed is not limited by Vortex - at all. Even the non-premium cap isn't. That's all under control of the server. Vortex Version: 0.

I'm getting an odd issue where I have paid for premium download speeds, and get those when I am manually downloading from the nexus server. I've tried letting it through the firewall but I'm unsure of what else could be the problem.
