Makina mod download
On the official map of Gardona and the Freija nation map where Fallen Makina takes place , it shows the Ruins being isolated from the rest of the country, locked between Gardona and a mountainous region, with no real forest for Celia to wander through.
Another thing is that no one noticed her the entire time she had collapsed even though the Ruins and Gardona have been getting heavy traffic in terms of guards keeping watch and adventurers passing through the only entrance. Makina herself mentions that Celia is alone outside the city even though she's lying right at the city and ruins entrance, and yet Celia hasn't found the city or the ruins yet.
But she is able to navigate the ruins itself with no problem and is able to come to Makina's aid at the right time. So to make it more believable that she really did get lost, I placed this scene in a more forested region outside the entrance to Gardona. It would have made more sense for her to wander through a larger forest like this and still potentially have missed the city. And this way she still keeps this sort of charm of being lost. Level Shop: The original developer Another Story is working on a new game, and he has confirmed on his blog that the level shop owner in both Fallen Makina and his new game are the same character.
However in the new game, he has created a portrait for her. I took this portrait and added it here as well since it is in fact the same character drawn by the developer and matches fits the art style of this game too. I've changed how the level up shop works by making the owner an NPC with more things to say while also keeping the convenience of the system I set up to let the player level up quickly without having to go through extra dialogue if they choose.
The forest area of the Ruins is a little more mysterious and menacing now, with a darker canopy color, which also helps distinguish it more from the player's route. The boss fight with the orc as you team up with Irina also correctly displays Irina's character correctly, so it looks like her now.
Also, all recruitable NPCs now have portraits including Makina herself in the menus, which can also show up during the battle rewards screen. I also added more dialogue and emotion during Makina's interviews here. The aim is to make the bar more interesting. Had to take a break from the Bardo scenes, so this is what I've been up to in the meantime. Thanks for your patience, everyone! I still have plenty of plans and a lot of what you guys are discussing I would like to add anyway, but I don't really want to talk about the stuff I haven't gotten to yet in case I never get to them.
I thought I'd be working on Bardo's route until I was done but I finally had to stop and work on something else just to get a fresh perspective. Upon returning from the ending scene, Makina can talk to the new Poltergeist character which gives her the 'Crystal Keystone' that she can use to break the crystal barriers throughout the ruins, which hold hidden endgame secrets such as the Time Crystal.
The Time Crystal can be used to extend certain scenes and gives Makina the ability to enter and explore areas freely that would normally trigger an ending scene.
Time is no longer lost, so this opens up Makina for further scenarios with NPCs without the time constraints that would have otherwise conflicted with the game's endings or epilogues. But it won't affect the current timeline so Makina could return to Gardona without a timeskip that affects the game's main story.
Which makes routes and their extensions more manageable and easier to add. The reason is I want all the scenes to be accessible on one save file if possible without forcing the player into one route that changes the entire timeline And would be a lot more work and require players to complete the game multiple times. For example, when Makina marries the goblin and raises children with him, it would be difficult to have her return to Gardona after many years of not dealing with the curse because not only has she aged, but so have other NPCs and the city might have changed over time.
With the Time Crystal, I can sort of wave that all away without interfering with the timeline too much. It will be on a case-by-case basis and I'll just try to make the scenes make sense. Some scenes may require time to be skipped and it will be nice for at least some NPCs to recognize Makina's changes so I can always adjust for those. It should all make more sense as I show the scenes as they're getting done. It may change in the future, so we'll see how it goes because some scenes I want to have would require time to pass for other NPCs.
I just don't want to have to update the dialogue for every single npc in the game for every change. Maybe just the npcs involved in that specific scene. Lots of placeholders in this update, so it's definitely a work-in-progress because most of the art isn't ready to add.

I just don't have as much free time right now, but I already accounted for that going into this mod when I first started. So you could technically say we're still 'right on schedule' and everything is still 'proceeding as planned'. Still no download or release date though. It can't be helped. I won't even mention that there is an uncensored version of the scene on another site because that's against Youtube's community guidelines You can't promise something in the video or title and then link to another website, Youtube considers it spam and scamming. So what I post on Youtube from now on will only be safe for work.
Just know that when I do post a youtube video, chances are there's going to be an uncensored version you-know-where. So for now I'm going to delete all the links and change the titles on my videos and probably take down any of the nsfw stuff since I don't want to get banned.
I got a warning because it's a first offense but from here on out I'm gonna be getting strikes on the channel if my videos violate any other rules. When you get 3 strikes your channel is permanently banned. Just giving a heads up. You can still find the H-versions you-know-where. And even if I did delete them by accident, I would just start over again from scratch and continue modding the game anyway. Sorry to worry you guys but I couldn't resist. I have started re-recording the H-scenes and re-uploading the videos in a higher resolution than I did before. So far there are two back up again. And I've started restoring the broken links to them on the youtube videos.
