Downloading mods with nmm

After the mod is activated, test it out by playing the game if being played while you do this guide, than restart the game. If your mod works, than congradulations, you can easly mod certain Bethesda games and others!!!

As a user has pointed out in the comments, NMM isn't always supported by mods. Big mods, like Tale of Two Wastelands, simply won't install. Any mod around 2 GB just won't work and will cause many issues, such as NMM crashing or it will ruin files.

Please be careful and research in the description of mods if NMM is supported as an installation alternative to manual! Even though NMM came out a few years ago, it is still in beta, so don't expect it to do everything like it's God's gift to the modding community. Sir Pootington [author] 9 Jan, pm. It's only the NMM, manuals work fine, so what I've been doing is dumpingall my mods into a folder and then having NMM manually install them.

Nothing has changed since the last time I used Nexusmods a few months ago,except that the site got an overhaul. It looks nice btw, this is the onlyproblem I've really ran into. Only thing you have to look out for while using manual download is choosing a free server instead of a premium top 3 choices one. Originally posted by Revived :.
