A gorgeous combination of brains and beauty, Version 14 has plenty of compelling reasons for you to update. It is powerful, elegant and easy to use, and has great new features that help you maximize efficiency with minimal effort.
The only software to get the Microsoft Windows 7 certification, an endorsement that Pulse gets for every version, it offers peace of mind to the user that their software works perfectly in the Windows environment. Version 14 offers Multiple Core Processing, which means increased productivity and faster stitch generation. Computers are not getting faster, they are adding more processor cores. Version 14 takes advantage of Multiple Cores, so multiple calculations can be done at the same time on many processors.
Version 14 will give you more time to focus on your business. More testing being done by independent sources and results will be available soon. The user interface has been completely re-written from the ground up using the latest technology available. Version 14 enhances the embroidery creation experience- the software is now more intuitive as only the appropriate tools are available in the context menu, making digitizing even simpler. And you can save your workspaces as well, so go ahead and define one for every kind of design, or each of the designers in your shop, or even one for every day of the week.
Thank you you are the only one posting that want to help people best luck man and thank you so much!!! Productivity is the winning feature Version 14 offers Multiple Core Processing, which means increased productivity and faster stitch generation.
We also specialize in restoring very old embroidery and textiles. Thanks to depth and power of this software, we are able to increase our creativity and flexibility in the field of embroidery designing for our customers.
For our designers it was a nice surprise to find out that philosophy of Pulse software is very close to Adobe Illustrator, like Bezier curve support and many more features and thus creating embroidery designs more easily.
We appreciate that Pulse cares for its customers, listens to feedback and actively take into consideration some of our suggestions. Pulse truly supports its users. Concerning version 14, we would like to mention some new functions. Very nice is the cyclic objects selection, and in case of lettering, the ability to create a lock stitch inside the segment.
Easier still is the letter editing and segment filtering, and of great use is the ability to import name badges from Excel. We were surprised by details like color code display with mouse over thread colour icon. Stitch edits and parameter settings are much easier thanks to new philosophy of tabbed windows and panels. We use the fur stitch effect very often, thanks to this feature we can get very similar stitching like in case of using mechanical sewing machines to create embroidery.
In general, we can say, that our work with software under version 14, with its new interface is much better than before. It makes things very easy for my type of business to just receive the artwork from my customer in Corel and convert it in the software to embroidery. I gain time as I can create the designs quickly and set them up for the machines that I want to sew them on.
The changes in version 14 have been very helpful, especially all the user interface changes that make it very easy to use. I also like the virtual slice feature in combination with automatic overlap which I used to previously do manually in order to use the artwork for laser applications but these are now performed automatically, helping me to win precious time.
The ability to change the sequence of underlay types and the ability to change corner types are features which have helped me a lot.
In general I am very pleased with the software and highly recommend it. Especially because this new version contains exactly the modifications that I was shown by Pulse Alex on the occasion of different exhibitions and that I, as user of latest computer technology, absolutely need. Working with systems that are out of date means your work is going to be time consuming, and this does not make sense in highly modernised Europe.
I am used to working with dual monitors two monitors at one pc and with version 14 I can organise my workstation in a better way, have a good overview of all important things and reach my goal faster. To be able to specify my own shortcuts means an incredible advantage regarding speed.
Unfortunately nowadays "time is money" and using Maestro V14 took me a big step forward. If you want to make money from creating embroidery data, Maestro is the best option. Lots of my orders come from carnival clubs with logos of over stitches and V14 is absolutely prepared for that. I like version 14 because it is even more user friendly than before. Everything is easy to follow and I can modify any of the design attributes by using the redesigned properties panel on the side without having to go to multiple windows.
The ability to work in full screen mode is great. The Start Page also good, always available, easy to reach the online contents. I am currently using Maestro level and I love it, because creating and editing d esigns is exactly like in drawing systems. Plus, the tools and functionality is easy to understand, quick to work with, and there are many features like 3D view, and the ability to email designs that I really like.
I also think that the lettering is simply the best, it always sews perfectly. This spectacular stitch effect not only produces memorable designs, but can also fill large areas using very few stitches, letting your designs make a bold statement while keeping costs in check.
Creating a Spiral Fill design is easy. Simply convert an artwork shape to Spiral Fill or draw your own. Add a simple Steil border to finish it off perfectly. By default, Spiral Fill fills from the center point of the design outwards.
By merely changing the start point of the segment, you can achieve an entirely new look to the design. Use Spiral Fill to fill negative space in an interesting way and create a completely new look to the design. Play with the spacing between Spiral Fill lines to achieve the exact look you need. Create interesting text effects with True Type fonts using Spiral Fill.
