Windows 10 change download folder sort

Is there any registry edit that could stop this? Usual crap from redmond sorry to say that. They always think they know it better than the user. Perhaps MS telemetry data picked up on that. Anyway, the Group By makes since for a lot of users. Or they can easily see the last item s deleted to recover them.

If I want to se the latest deletes or downloads, i click on the modified column for sorting. Thank you! Fixing this and being able to delete the Xbox app are the relief after 3 hours and 40 minutes waiting for this to download and install.

I came across a similar problem in the screenshots folder. The download folder view appears to behave as it should. The display is grouped by time and I cannot find a way to change. Any ideas? Thank you very much for these tips. When I try the grouping it mixes everything up.
