If you delete an app with shared files from your iOS or iPadOS device, you also delete those shared files from your device and your iCloud or computer backup.

Select your device in the Finder. Learn what to do if your computer doesn't recognize your device. Click the Files tab to see a list of apps that can share files. If you don't see a Files section, your device doesn't have any apps that can share files. Click the triangle next to an app to see the files that you can share.
If you stop sharing or delete a shared folder, the files in the folder are no longer accessible to the participants. To stop sharing a file in a shared folder without changing the folder settings, you can move the file out of the shared folder.
Share folders or documents To share a folder or document, do one of the following on your Mac: In the Finder , select iCloud Drive, select a folder or document, click the Share button , then choose Share Folder or Share File. In the invitation, click the link to the shared folder or document. If necessary, sign in with your Apple ID and password. Open the document in an app on your Mac, make your changes, then save it.
Change the sharing options of a folder or document You can change the sharing settings for a folder or document you share at any time. View and manage your shared files You can use the Shared folder in the Finder sidebar to easily view files and folders shared by others and by you. On iCloud. Create new folders Go to Locations. Tap iCloud Drive, On My [device], or the name of a third-party cloud service where you want to keep your new folder.
Swipe down on the screen. Tap More. Select New Folder. Enter the name of your new folder. Then tap Done. Add a tag Tap Select. Tap the file that you want to tag. Choose the tag that you want to add. Rename a tag Go to Locations. Tap the name of an existing tag. Enter the name of your new tag. Tap Done. Delete files Select the files that you don't want anymore and tap Delete. Use third-party apps in Files The Files app lets you add your third-party cloud services — like Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, and more — so that you can access all of your files on all of your devices. Add third-party apps Download and set up the third-party cloud app. Open the Files app.
Tap the Browse tab. Turn on the third-party apps that you want to use in the Files app. Move third-party cloud files Open the file that you want to move. Open the folder where you want to move your file. Now found new help files which explain the procedure very well and was able to download all my files as required.
Do not remember that zip file was used on first Upload but this worked well and provides another backup. Recommend to download files perhaps at or less at a time because loading a big block of files will come over but will take a long time.
Then you can verify the files came over properly. Kudos to the developer for the help files and great app. It does work, and I had better luck with it transferring a large video file than with the Documents app on the App Store, but this app UI here is clunky.
This app is great and easy to use - it worked very well for uploading and super fast for large video file out of my iPad Pro to my PC. After initially posting a 3 star review I decided to try again the upload but this time with the lighter Chrome browser and it worked perfectly. Kudos to the developer for the app simplicity. I am going to test later on the week using wired Ethernet over a usb-c against the Ethernet on my laptop because ad-hoc WiFi is no longer as supported in windows
