Nexus mods skyrim special edition slow downloads

Global Achievements. I just started this, having merely touched it upon release. Figured it was time for yet another TES V replay so choose this one, but now when I try to update mods, nothing happens.

Showing 1 - 10 of 10 comments. Seriously, opening new mods take a lot of time. Like loading pictures takes several seconds if not a minute. I'm on a mb high speed internet connection Is there a way to handle mods without this built-in garbage?

There is no workshop and someone told me that NMM is no go for the re-release? All I see is "loading mods Or is it always this useless? These dont exist for the re-release?? Mods for Fallout 4 are fairly quick it's still not as quick as it should, but I'm guessing I need premium for that :P while Skyrim is unbearably slow I noticed that their NMM download server get overloaded at times, you can just download manually and put it in the NMM folder and install them that way.

For a mod of mb size it takes more than half an hour to download. Is it possible to download mods from Bethesda manually?
