Safe Zones are protected from griefers, meaning you can build as much as you like without fear of others trashing your masterpieces. Similarly, ships can be stolen, provided the owner is not onboard at the time. Sailing a ship around in Minecraft is tricky, but in PirateCraft, they do a surprisingly good job of making it work. The scale of the ships is impressive, as is the ship-to-ship combat. The ambitious server does take some time to get used to, but is worth learning for the impressive ship-to-ship combat.

You can dock at ports also and join the other landlubbers to trade with a functional currency, and even store your treasure in safe zones.
