Thank you StringJunky. However; the purpose of doing this clone was to get a larger hard drive for my C drive. It did not give me the option to expand the partition to the entire size of the new hard drive. Way back in the dark ages I had software that could clone and expand to use the entire hard drive. Is that option in this software and I am again working with my blinders on or is this software unable to do what I want?

I've never done a clone with it but if you use the default image function you do get the option to expand. As far as I remember, an image would have put the files as they were in the original. I see no point in using a clone An image of a 20gb partition is typically 8GB compared to the full 20GB for a clone.

It is easy to expand. Post a picture of Disk Management on your new drive and I will try to tell you how to do it. Thanks whs for jogging my memory. I went to the command line and used the diskpart. Now the next step is to test this clone with the extended partition. I will be taking out the current C drive and installing this new cloned and expanded partition hard drive as the C drive then attempt to start up the computer booting from this drive. Everything worked great. I took out the C drive, set the cloned hard drive with the expanded partition to use the entire drive to master and installed it as the C drive. The computer booted perfect and I now have the much larger C drive with everything looking and working as before.
