Cant download apk files on firestick reddit

I just used the downloader to get kodi working, but I jave now closed Kodi and it does not appear on my firestick home page. Any help is appreciated! I get to the skin page push the get more button and it takes me right back to the skin page instead of giving me different skin options. Plz help.
