Removing the app allowed the original Ring app to go back to the job it is supposed to do. Block recording when you need it blocked. But when you have multiple people who have access to private areas of your home they are watching away without any notification other than by chance you looking into your timeline history. I was shocked and embarrassed at it recoding private areas of my home. If they allow this app to understand the modes, I will download it in a minute. After having an endless amount of issues with the Ring app making my cameras useless, I hoped downloading this app would solve my issues.

The camera will load more often than the Ring app but neither would load late last night when I received motion alerts. I never used to have an issue like this when I bought the original Ring Doorbell. As I mentioned in my other review, why would time and finances be spent on making an entirely new app to try and fix the issues with the other Ring app? Why not invest in fixing the one you have?
