Refreeze it, pull data off…….. Other units when spun up, just make a ton of noise…….. I do have some questions about this. I have not deleted or removed them. These disappearing files are a source of great aggravation to me.

Is there a way to avoid pictures or files becoming lost or irretrievable? Any useful suggestions, explanation, or solutions to this problem. Your advice would be most appreciated. I am running Windows 7. Thanks for your input. Need to repair them.
