Book is clear, outlines the basics anatomy etc, then delves in deep. Only thing I wish for is an accompanying question series. Too many details which are not on exams. This book is excellent for a broad overview of surgery and how to work up and treat surgical presentations. Although it is very wordy at times especially for such a time consuming rotation and lacks a lot of important topics that are heavily tested on the shelf exam. For instance, there is hardly any explanation regarding bleeding disorders, which I found to be heavily tested on the shelf.
