I bought the guide only because it came with follow-along workout videos. The pdf of the 28 day workouts is very similar to BBG. There are outlines of each workout and diagrams of how the poses should look. But the difference is that with PIIT28, you also get access to an amazing online portal of resources—workout videos, gifs if you just want a refresher of a certain move , and a community. But I will keep you guys updated! And maybe do a separate progress post or review at the end of the 28 days.

No problem, glad you found it helpful! If anything, you could also try one of her workout videos that you have to repeat 4x.


I love Blogilates! When I feel like attempting to be fit I always turn to her videos because her energy gives me energy. I definitely think PIIT28 is more worth the money.


The videos make the workouts more fun—even if you do have to repeat it through 4x. Glad you found the review helpful! I definitely agree with BBG being repetitive and the exercises are not very exciting. It is very challenging though. Are the blogilates videos that come with PIIT totally new? Is it all in one video that you play for 28 min?


Also, do you feel like it is very challenging? Yessss haha I never made it past week 9 for BBG. The videos that come with PIIT are custom made for the program. There are 11 videos total that you cycle through over 28 days. I think they are very challenging! I m a vegetarian and I was wondering for the meal plan if it s better to get the normal one and substitute different protein or to get the vegan and forsake my beloved cheese. It gives you much more flexibility and saves you a lot of money!


Thanks for this post! Thanks so much! No problem! I actually had that same concern…but I never really followed her free workout calendars very diligently. I will post updates here starting next week! This past week I had finals and skipped a few days…so I decided to start fresh when I was done. Although I can tell you from the first four workouts that they are definitely really challenging and target all areas of your body.


Thanks for the review! I am contemplating piit I currently do the fitness blender programs and love them as I love their videos! I think the PIIT28 workouts are quite a bit more challenging.


Maybe some Pilates only workouts?? New stuff more frequently would keep me here forever!! I think the timer should give you the option of how many rounds you want to do like the older timer on the Blogilates app. Sometimes I only have time for 3, some day I hope to do 5 rounds.


UPDATE: If anyone has been having trouble gaining access to content after purchasing a sub on the new piit pocket app, they need to contact Apple for a refund, make a new account, and purchase a sub on the new account. I wish someone from Piit28 had responded to my email or comments asking for help instead of leaving me to figure it out on my own. Updating to 4 stars with a star lost for poor customer service.


Hopefully in the future the bugs will get fixed but until then this app is a dud for me. To be honest, when I first heard about this app I was very angry. How dare Cassey make me pay for this when I already bought it. PIIT 28 1. I just did my first workout and the app is great. I used it to make food and I no longer have to trudge my laptop around the kitchen so I can see my recipes or go crazy flipping through pages on my phone to find them.


Happy Wednesday everyone! So many people have reached out to me asking me about PIIT28, what it is, why I have been doing it, etc! So pretty much this is a PIIT28 review of 1. If you click and sign up through my link, I do get credit. The program last 28 days. Most workouts go as follows: cardio move think jumping movement, burpee, etc followed by a pilates strengthening move targeted for a muscle group so if it is abs — moves focused on engaging and isolating your core ab muscles and then they switch.


So, cardio, pilates, cardio, pilates, cardio, pilates, cardio. You get the picture lol. So there are 7 different moves for each workout, and you just repeat those 7 moves, 4 times. Pretty simple! Q: Where can I do it? A: Anywhere! Lots of water. A: I love following along watching the videos on my laptop. I put it in full-screen mode, max out the volume, and it really helps me feel like I am in a class with Cassey.


However I have watched on my phone as well,, and they worked great there too. How do you think anyone ever starts working out? Will it be hard? I love that her video walk through for each day shows you how to perform each move. She also says common form mistakes that can hurt you if you are performing the move incorrectly. She also provides modifications for most moves, especially high impact, in case you have bad knees or are just beginning working out.


I did not buy her meal plan. I obviously ate stuff other than this but this is typical stuff I eat day to day. I actually have a bad dairy sensitivity, so I avoid it. Learn to love almond milk or soy milk or something other than dairy milk. Yes, I cheated. But not every day. But, I knew I was eating that beforehand, so I made sure to really stay in check the entire day and the day after I ate it.


A sweet treat is totally fine every now and then, but not every day. Try to do 1 or 2 only once or twice a week. It really gives you something to look forward to, too! Q: Why do you like it? Because it works. Finding something that you can commit to and you enjoy is totally key. I look forward to getting home from work and cranking it out after a long day, and before I know it, 28 minutes is up and my workout is complete for the day!


It also just makes me happy. When I am about halfway through with the workout, it is so tempting to just quit and be like oh well, I did half. But no! Having internal drive and motivation will keep you pushing when you want to give up. Because trust me, sometimes giving up seems easy.


So just make it easier on yourself and keep going for yourself! Not trying to toot my own horn but I love the way it has shaped my body. I am not exaggerating when I say I did my first proper push up during this program. I have always had weak upper body strength. Remember when I said the hardest part was starting and not the moves itself? This concept also applies to the areas you are weakest at.


Even with the most basic version of certain moves, I was initially too weak to do it more than three times a round. It was better than none or an incorrect one done a hundred times. Seeing the side by side comparisons of the start, middle, and end of my journey for the first time was an eye-opening experience for me.


As conceited as it may sound, I became my own motivation. The progress photos were proof that progress happens as long as you are consistent and honest with your efforts. The craziest thing? I weigh the exact same I did on day one that I did day This program really showed me that your weight is not always the best way to measure your progress.


This is why progress pics are so important. The number on the scale might not be changing, but you definitely are with PIIT PIIT28 gave me the push I needed to embrace fitness, not because I wanted to look good, but because I wanted to feel good. The fact that I did not lose any weight during this program really put things into perspective for me. I was that person who would check my weight regularly and base my progress solely on that number that appeared above my feet.


There are different ways to gauge progress, but the best way is to compare yourself to the person you were yesterday. So, is PIIT28 worth it? No one can make the change happen for you. No supplement, diet, or program can give you the body you want unless you put the work into it.
