Ios provisioning profile download
Before a distribution certificate expires, create an additional distribution certificate, described in Creating Additional Enterprise Distribution Certificates. You cannot renew an expired certificate. Instead, replace the expired certificate with the new certificate, described in Replacing Expired Certificates.
However, you will no longer be able to sign new passes or send updates to existing passes. If your certificate is revoked, your passes will no longer function properly. Click either the Development or Distribution tab to display the appropriate profiles. Click the Download button, in the Actions column, for the profile you want to download. This new document describes how to use Xcode and other Apple developer tools to create and configure your project, request signing certificates, create provisioning profiles, configure special App Store technologies, test your app on devices, create your app record in iTunes Connect, and submit your app for approval to Apple.
To run an app on a device, you need the accompanying provisioning profile you download from the iOS Provisioning Portal.
There are two types of provisioning profiles, one for development and one for distribution. The enterprise signing certificate that you use to sign apps typically lasts for three years. However, the provisioning profile expires after a year.
While the certificate is still valid, Intune gives you the tools to proactively assign a new provisioning profile to devices that have apps that are nearing expiry. After the certificate expires, you must sign the app again with a new certificate and embed a new provisioning profile with the key of the new certificate. Sign in to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center. The Expiration date will be populated from a value in the Apple Mobile Configuration Profile file that you added above.
The name is used only so that you can identify a provisioning profile. A provisioning profile is valid for one year. Apps can be distributed either through the App Store with an iTunes Connect account or through ad hoc distribution. If you are enrolled in the Enterprise Program, you can also use in-house distribution. For more on distribution methods see Distributing an App.
