Hi, is there an ingame gallery? I've seen the button in demo version, but it doesn't seem to appear in Ran's story one. There isn't a gallery in the individual routes. However, there will be a gallery available in the complete version of Wilder.

I bought and downloaded this game but when I run it, there are crucial parts of the GUI are missing. The text box is missing from the game and when I open the settings page, it's empty underneath the text, bgm the entire left side of the page etc.

I also noticed when I hover over buttons such as the ones on the start screen, they don't light up. Then when I try to quit, there is no 'yes' or 'no' button to click so I'm stuck in the game until I force close it with task manager. I've re-downloaded the zip file and did not experience any error unzipping the file. I've also played the demo with no problems. Any idea what happened??

Well, that's a very strange error. It almost seems like some things are not extracting? As a starting point, I'd suggest seeing if your anti-virus software is interfering. If not, then perhaps trying a different program for unzipping. If the problem persists, please email me at sonnet gmail.

Normally I never review a game, that being stated, something has compelled me to write a short review for this game. First I will start off with the cons that I found while playing the game. The first one I'll note and this could be a pro for some was that it was super easy to achieve the 'Sweet' ending, basically just don't be a douche. The second con I noticed was that although there are many choices it didn't seem to affect the story in the long run for example if I chose choices which made the MC have a more volatile nature or if I decided I wanted to wait instead of getting 'handsy' the first time, but then the second time I was roaring to go, I wish this would have affected future dialogue a little more.

Moving onto the pros. The first pro that I want to address is that the background, CGs, and sprites are beautifully drawn. The second pro is that the story and the characters are spectacular.

So much so that I found myself tearing up at parts, having to stop to prepare myself for the next scene or giggling openly at the characters antics. This coupled with all the small choices the games gives you made it feel almost completely immersive and was disappointed that I had reached the end when I wanted continue learning about this horrifying, yet wonderful place.

In conclusion the story was completely compelling and I felt that the characters really made a connection with each other. I'm not sure if it has tried but hope that it reaches more people and gets sold on places like Steam I know that I would vote for it. Thank you for this review! I would recommend waiting for the full game to come out, because that will apparently answer a lot more questions like, who killed the Shah? Anyway, those are my thoughts! This story had an amazing plot with good development and some really fun and adult lead situations which put you on edge! Loved this story so much I cannot wait for your next project. You are truly one of my favorite authors for Interactive fiction! I'm so disappointed that this series won't continue over something I think shouldn't matter to the creative writing process. I had more to say but this is not an attack on the author, just my expression of disbelief and shock that a story about overcoming society had to end before it even started for something that seems silly to me.

I would have to agree. I don't hate the author by any means, but the fact that we live in a society where people are discouraged from writing because they feel like it's "insensitive" even when it's not I guess that it just feels sad that even so much as mentioning another ethnicity or a cultural issue is now a big no-no So many great stories may never be told.

That's pretty much how I feel as well. The fact that the author of this felt the need to discontinue just rubs me wrong. Nothing against the author, they can choose what to write and when obviously, but how are we supposed to get stories about beating negative aspects of society if no one feels they're allowed to write them?

Your last line really hits home to me, it's the fact that the stories that seemed so interesting will never be told now. I didn't find anything in either route to be problematic so it just came as a surprise to me that it was discontinued but I wish the author nothing but the best and hope they continue to make stories, even if it's in another setting!

However, since the news of it being abandoned, I went ahead and purchased Bahadur and Ran's story. The artwork is amazing.

The plot was definitely something I did not expect and was mind-blown every time. However, the romance was slightly disappointing. I understand MC was supposed to be a sheltered royal but her actions and lack of personality kind of put me off. There were only two choices to choose from during the dialogues.

It's either you love them or hate them; rude or super polite etc. I wish there were more options to choose from in terms of personality and interactions. Because of this , I didn't really feel much of a connection for the ROs.

However, if I were to choose, Ran's story definitely pulled my heart strings a bit more than Bahadur's I'm a sucker for angst. I also felt like the music didn't really fit some of the situations but this is rather minor. Although I am deeply saddened that the game has been abandoned, I hope sonnet gets better! I know making this decision wasn't an easy choice choice. Regardless, I can't wait for future games. Very good game. As has been mentioned by other players before, it was amazing how you managed to keep me absolutely thrilled until the very end!

This game has a very nice plot. I like how you arrange the story and make me slowly fall in love with Ran too. Thank you for making such amazing game. I'm looking forward for the other bachelors too.
