But the acting is so good you'll forget that the film is 2 and a half hours and the only true action sequences are actually all in the previews. That's not a knock but this isn't an unintelligent film and the lack of big budget action scenes proves it. Placing the Harvey Dent/2 Face storyline in this film signifies that audiences are in for an amazing 3rd installment because the director got an important character in the Batman franchise understood and out of the way in one film. All in all "Dark Knight" will be one of the best films of the year, but don't expect it to be as good as everybody will rave it is. its a great achievement in acting and storytelling. If you can understand that then its as good as advertised. On a final note, if Heath Ledger doesn't win an Oscar for his performance it will be one of the biggest robberies in Film history.
