I am having this same exact issue, I tried going in and installing a different version with no luck. Sorry, something went wrong. Same happenned to me. I took a look at the logs and I'm not really sure but I guess this is the error I'm getting made the file txt because json is not supported :. FTB packs work fine. I'm guessing this is because it's trying to download a full zip of all the mods included instead of just downloading each one separately like FTB does.
