As of this writing, its last update was two months ago, and it desperately needs to be updated again to coincide with the latest iOS. Since the new operating system, it is buggy to the point where practically every single time you attempt to load a saved layer on to your work the entire app crashes, knocking you back out on to your home screen, and all you can do is keep retrying and hoping that this time it will cooperate and actually let you do it.

It got so bad that yesterday the whole app crashed so badly that it wiped out everything I had had saved on the app - over five years' worth of work! This happened not once, but twice - after being forced to wipe my iPhone back to factory settings and restoring from a backup, it did it a second time, forcing me to do the same process all over again.

Fortunately, wiping my iPhone back to factory settings and restoring from a previous emergency backup on my iCloud restored everything both times, but the point is, I shouldn't even had have to take such drastic steps in the first place. I really enjoy this app and have used it to make my photos into stunning creations. However, i have recently updated my iPod Touch to iOS 11, and this has caused a small glitch where previews for any filter, effect, and texture do not load.

The problem I found is a lack of channels to ask for support or contact the developers regarding glitches or issues. Normally, this would not bother me, but I appreciate there being such a contact button in case something does go wrong with the app, as has happened to me.

Aside from this, the app is wonderful, and quite fun to use. I hadn't even been looking for a new photo editing app, but saw this featured and also saw it had a lot of good reviews. Sure enough, it's as good as its rating suggest. Really powerful editing features, but not at all difficult to use. You can even just use filters if that's your thing. And yes, this includes LOTS of filters for free. It can honestly be said that you won't need to spend any money with this app unless you just really want to.
