S3, Ep8. Luciana finds the letter from Sara's school and issues an ultimatum to Sara. The school wants her back and she needs to decide if she goes to a special school in Milano or her old one. In Centopia, Mia and the Elves could get a Heart Crystal from Polytheus, but only in exchange for the most precious thing they can find. S3, Ep9. After tourists report that they have seen a wolf in the mountains, Mia and Sara set out on Peppino to search for the wild animal.

But the Night Vine has already covered most cave entries. They have to help Baby Blue to find a lost dragon egg before night falls. S3, Ep Fabio tries to make Sara dancing again, and leads her to his slack line where they do some balance training. Meanwhile Mia travels to Centopia and has to witness a rather sad event. Together with the Elves and Kyara she travels to a mystic hill called the Seventh Wave where they meet Landa, Kyara's grandmother.

In order to help Suzanna the goat with her colic, Sara and Mia hike into the mountains to search for mountain avens, when Mia reveals her secret to Sara.

But she doesn't take Mia's words very seriously. In Centopia, Mia and Mo learn about Yuko's secret hobby: she trains her singing skills. Monti is teaching Fabio how to ride, when Mia and Sara show up.

But soon Mia has to leave for Centopia. The oracle tells the friends to find Simo and Lasita. They send out a friendship butterfly that leads them over the ocean. But after a storm they crash-land the balloon throne and get trapped on an island with Ponycorns. A fox has broken into the chicken coop, so Mia and Sara try to fix it before the fox comes back catching another chicken.

Simo is able to decipher it and knows where to go: to a field of electrifying snoot-blossoms. Know what this is about? Be the first one to add a plot.

It is Mia's birthday, so Sara and Luciana surprise her with a little birthday cake. Later, the girls are hiking in the mountains. They have to help Baby Blue to find a lost dragon egg before night falls. The heroes find the sun-flute and call the Sun Unicorn. Thus, night becomes day again. Mia is able to save the egg — and finds the Heart Crystal. The oracle indicates that the heroes have to bring Kyara to a mystic hill called the Seventh Wave — the unicorn graveyard.

Kyara's grandmother went there some time ago to lay to her final rest. Landa dies — in the most beautiful way imaginable, only possible in Centopia. From Landa, Kyara inherits a Heart Crystal that was hidden at the unicorn graveyard. Yuko has a secret hobby: she trains her bad singing skills. Mia notices this and before she can think about it, whisper goes down the lane.

Everyone in the Elven Crater now knows that Yuko sings badly. This, of course leads to lots of bickering between the heroes and hinders them on today's adventure: lead by the oracle the friends fly to the foggy canyons of Sharp Peak Mountain in search for a Heart Crystal. The oracle tells the heroes to find Simo. They send out a friendship butterfly that leads them over the ocean. They crash-land on an island with ponycorns and get trapped.

Alarmed by the butterfly, Simo comes to free the heroes. All together they sail back on Funtopia to Centopia. The heroes visit their friends at Blackwood Forest where the oracle tells them to look for a Heart Crystal.

Simo is able to decipher it and knows where to go: to a field of electrifying snoot-blossoms. Whenever you touch them, you are shocked and do a funny snoot. But Simo knows how to play the flute so these blossoms are hypnotized. A creature is frightening the elves. Is it a new enemy send by Dark Elf? Dark Elf knows: It's not. But it may be a good ally. He sends his henchmen to find the creature first. The heroes find out: it's not a monster at all, but a bunch of very shy ponycorns.

They came as blind passengers with Funtopia. Mia and the Elves help the ponycorns to find a new home: The steepest cliff in Centopia. There the heroes not only encounter the bad guys, but also find a Heart Crystal.

The heroes come back to Flowerdale where they tell the local elves that they are looking for the Moon Unicorn. According to Mia's oracle it may know where they can find another Heart Crystal. Every elf knows the myth of the Moon Unicorn. But Kuki doesn't believe in it. The heroes follow the myth on their search for a Heart Crystal nevertheless — and take Kuki with them.

The heroes find glowing night plants and glow flies that lead them the way to the Moon Unicorn. They meet the Moon Unicorn and get the Heart Crystal. The bad guys chop down the Heartleaf Tree to have some firewood for the cold Castle. As it is a unique tree, the Love Unicorn, who needs the fruits of this special tree, is in danger to starve.

A last piece of heart-crystal is missing from Mia, Mo and Yuko to defeat the plant. But Gargona and Dax captured the play before them. When Sara realizes that only Mia's Bracelet has returned from Centopia, she decides, after a short delay, to travel to the Elfenreich herself with the bracelet. In Centopia there is great excitement when an unknown elf girl appears: It's Sara! But Mia is still trapped in the Dark Castle. With the help of a cunning but dangerous plan she is to be freed.

Sara finally has to decide whether she wants to return to her old school. Mia and Fabio are talking to her well, and Sara's mother Luciana would want that solution.

Also in Centopia pushes the time. The terrible nightmare is driving more and more inhabitants into the elven crater, but Mia, Sara, Mo and Yuko have not succeeded in bringing together the parts of the "heart of Centopia".

But only then can they save Centopia. Mias and Sara's common summer comes to an end. Sara has decided to go back to her old school. Mia will accompany her on her first day of school. In Centopia, there is an all-encompassing discussion with the Dunkelelfen.

Even the villains are shivering while inventing new ways to stay warm. Bringing a penguin from the far north to the warm center of Centopia is downright mean. Meanwhile, Mia and the elves try to set things straight. Mia and Mo help a butterfly break out of its cocoon and Phuddle's latest invention softens clothes. But Dax gets in the way of a first flight. Sara is finally learning about Centopia and the unicorns are concerned about the thorny vines overtaking their fields.

The elves disagree on a plan. Mia and Sara head to Stella's for ice cream and in Centopia, a dragon listens in on Dax and Gargona's latest unicorn-snatching plan. Mia and Sara are caught in a thunderstorm and in Centopia, the vines are spreading over everything. Ziggo proves his value as another shard surfaces. Mia's bracelet breaks in the real world.

And in Centopia, the elves embark on a quest that shows them the best and worst versions of themselves. Sara and Mia are trying to find a way to get to Centopia together. And in Centopia, Drakon is ecstatic about the spread of the thorny vines. Mia is missing in both the real world and in Centopia.

Where is she? And can Sara overcome her disability and find her friend? Sara has to decide where she will attend school. And in Centopia, the elves are struggling with a puzzle that absolutely has to be put back together. Sara and Mia take a slight detour before school, and in Centopia, the final battle begins.
