Deluge still downloads unticked files
So I uninstalled 7zip x64 and reinstalled the x86 build with nothing else to try. Stopped and restarted deluged in debug mode again and got a different error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
In my case, I made an exclusion in Windows Defender for my Downloads directory for torrents and everything magically started working. The torrent was successfully extracted. I seem to be having a similar issue, but I'm not sure. It could very well be user error as this is a totally new setup for me. When the torrents complete they don't seem to be extracting automatically all of the time. In the last few days the extraction seems to have stopped working and I can't seem to figure out why.
I've just enabled logging for Deluge, so that may shed some light on things, but I was curious if anyone had any suggestions. I've been back through everything, and nothing jumps out, but I very well could have missed something. I've been having things randomly not extract for quite some time now. Never really checked logs before as I didn't know how and I'm at my PC a lot and I run this on my normal rig so not too big of a deal to extract a few now and again by hand.
I just whitelisted my folder with the x64 version to see if it works. If it doesn't I'll try the x86 next. Maybe check out those logs more if neither work I guess. I'll try n report back if anything works. I assume if you had it working and it still sporadically working your settings are right.
You can check your lcextract. Checked logs with deluged-debug. I could only reliably get the settings to stick when using the deluge web UI windows GUI program did not work. If you didn't see any logs then that most likely means the plugin isn't running.
A couple of downloads finished while I was away, maybe it had something to do with that. I've also encountered the same issue again, It's a petty since deluge is an awesome torrent client otherwise. Hate updates which broke system or some apps. Update: 12 hours of deluge online running, no one torrent appears to visible.
I tried reinstall deluge, no result, tried restart deluge, PC, no result I can add torrents of couse they became invisible , but cannot delete. I think I read that its due to files becoming corrupted.
Ive had it happen and thats the only thing that fixes it. Quick and uggly fix maybe. Iit seemse like a better idea to wait like an moment or two for it to go back to normal again, without deleting anything. Atom topic feed. Arch Linux. Index Rules Search Register Login. Downloading individual files from a torrent Post by Varjak » Sun Jun 17, pm I don't use Deluge or any torrent client that much , so each time I come back to it, there seems to be a new wrinkle not a complaint, just an explanation.
So, I'm using 1. I've always found it to be a reliable and useful client. I seem to remember that one used to be able to download individual files within a torrent, if it was broken down into files.
I'm trying to download one that has lots of files I believe ; but I don't need or want all of them. I'm particularly interested in only a few series worth and would like to restrict my download to that.
