I pressed the "ps" button in the middle of my controller, and closed the application while it was trying to install. Then, instead of starting the application, I found it on the home screen and scrolled down to "details" or something like that. It was either the "details" option itself or an option within it that showed me a number representing the game's percentage installation progress.

I left my ps4 on this option not in standby. It moved pretty quick, but would still either slow down or stop altogether every now and again. When this happened, I would turn off my ps4 and let it rest for a few minutes before turning it back on and returning to the game's "details" option to check back in on it's progress might've been a run-on sentence, or comma splicing, but oh well.
