If you don't wish to see items you've already added to Clockify, you can check "Hide added items" in the upper right corner. After you add the project, you can then add a new task. To give them such permissions, you will need to log in via Web browser and set "Who can create projects and clients" and "Who can create tags" to Everyone in the Workspace settings.
Simply check the "Remind to track time" box, specify the interval eg. You can start the timer directly from the notification by clicking "Start timer" in the notification. You can also set reminder start and end time , during which time the reminder will appear e. Outside of those times, the reminder notifications won't appear.
If you don't want to receive reminders on Sundays for example, leave it unchecked. The app detects when you're inactive based on your mouse movements.
Note: if you've downloaded Clockify for Mac from the App Store, idle detection is not available. You can download the version with idle detection here. If you set the detection interval to 10 minutes, after 10 minutes of no mouse activity, the app will ask you whether you want to include those previous 10 minutes plus how long the timer was running after that in your timesheet. If you sometimes forget to stop the timer when you go on a break or are finished working, Mac desktop app can stop the running timer for you.
Mac app can also start the timer for you when you come back to work later so you don't have to worry about managing timers. Clockify Desktop app will send you a notification when you reach the end of your current Pomodoro interval to let you know you should take a break. After the break, you can continue tracking time on the latest task by clicking on that entry's play icon, or start a brand new timer.
You can set just the Pomodoro Timer when to stop the timer and give you a notification , and you can also set breaks. When Pomodoro break is enabled, and you reach the end of your Pomodoro time, Clockify will let you know with a notification to stop the timer for the current task. After that, a new timer starts, with the description "Pomodoro break". After it ends, the timer will stop, and you can start a new timer for anything you want. You can start the timer for break directly from the notification by clicking "Start break" in the notification.
If you work on the same project every day, set a default project. Then, all you have to do is type what you're working on and start the timer, and the project will be selected automatically. When you're focused on the Clockify window, you can use a keyboard shortcut to quickly perform some action:. When you get back online, the app will automatically sync all time entries. When you're offline, you will only be able to see information loaded while you were online time entries, projects, tasks, tags, etc.
So projects, tasks, and tags are available for selection if they were loaded before you went offline. The app stores data locally, and syncs with the web version once you're online again. If you want, you can also perform a manual sync by clicking the refresh icon. Logging into a dedicated web-panel, they will find a tabbed interface that offers the ability to add, view and edit multiple tasks simultaneously. The panel also derives reports based on the data entered by the users and options for exporting or saving the reports are also present, with support for the most common formats such as PDF, XLSX or CSV, for further processing.

Time-tracking in an accessible and deploy-able form could be of interest for numerous users who are involved in multiple projects or tasks, regardless if these are work-related or not. Keep track of what you're working on and assign useful reports with web version of the app. It seems okay on my phone but on my macbook MPB it seems incredibly buggy. The first time you launch it it seems okay. After a while you try bring it to the front and its completely dead and unresponsive.
I have to force kill it and re open it. I came from Toggl and i like all the other bits this has to offer in terms of a small team. Just wish the desktop app was more resoponsive. That's a strange issue, please contact us at support clockify. There are countless of freemium of timekeeping apps out there that are useless unless you pay—this app is not one of those.
It does what I need it to do, track my hours per project. I looked for a few years trying to find something and this has been, by far, the easiest and most reliable apps I've used. To note: 1 I only use it on my work machine, I don't know how well it syncs on multipe devices.
