Downloading tuneecu on windows 10

2021.12.20 17:35

I don't want to download something that screws up my laptop. This is a bit more complicated than my other bike a Kawasaki h1 where you put lolly sticks or similar under the carb slides to balance the carbs Cheers Steve. Like x 1. Sprinter Kinigit. So I imagine at this stage you can be confident downloading to your computer. T O M is often quoted as one of the main sites to download your bike and tune specific software, yes to answer your question. Feedback please on how you get on.

If you get this wrong it won't work. Useful x 1. Kinjane Active Member. Oct 15, 43 Bristol, Land of Enger. With windows I found the best way for a trouble free installation was to download and install the drivers first, then the TuneEcu software followed by TuneLibrary.

Zip file includes the cable drivers that were current at the time of 2. Also TuneECU v2. Last edited: Jul 22, Will Costa Rica Triumph. Can you help me out with the link to download the older version of TuneECU. I am here in Costa Rica , actually in process of setting up a small Triumph dealership here. I am trying to get some things fixed on my KTM to get rid of it and make room for my tiger rally pro ,,,first ever new bike I appreciate any help.

Thread starter. Will Costa Rica Triumph said:. Not sure what bike were talking about but I thought all the later ecu's can only communicate with TuneECU via Bluetooth and it's not possible to transfer the map from the bike to your device. So do you have a modified map in the bike already? If not you can just download the standard maps from TuneECU. Thanks for the response.

No I needed the software onto the laptop. The actual site directs you to a site you have to subscribe to but I may have sorted it by going to the lonelec website. I say may have as I have tried linking it to the bike yet as not had time. Firstly are we talking about a pre bike where you can use a cable? If the standard map has been modified using tune ECU surely whoever did that should have saved a copy or should have the original?

And it was mapped by T3. I wanna save the map and put the official map on to see if it sorts my low idle issue. I have a lonelec cable now and used their support page to get the software. Will do tomorrow eve. I imagine this is a stupid question but would t3 not give you a copy of the modified map, after all you've paid for it.

Or if they won't release the map tell them your bike was in the dealers and they've reloaded the standard map by mistake and they might reload the custom map if they still have it on file. I'm a bit old school and was brought up on Windows PCs, sometimes I think this move to to small Android devices touchscreens and so on is a backward step, probably fine if you've been brought up with them but I find them really restrictive sometimes, I've lost count the number of times I've said that would have been much easier with a PC or a laptop, even while I'm using Google speech to text or typing this on my touch screen.

I'm not sure the windows version of tune ECU ever worked on Windows 10, I know when I was using it I was still on Windows XP Have you not got a friend or relative with an old laptop tucked away anywhere. I don't know how exstensive the mods are on your bike and how much difference the t3 tune made but if all else fails and you have to reload the standard map you could download a custom tune from power Commander to suit your mods and create your own custom map in tune ECU, I'm in the middle of doing this myself on the Thruxton R.

Obviously you should at least do a dyno run afterwards to check the afr which I suppose is more expense. Sorry I can't be more help. Yea maybe. Unfortunately it was about four year ago they mapped it and it was a custom map using the dyno work. Been having issues since so gonna see if this works. Ff , Oct 1, Hey, where are you from? Someone local may be able to help.
