Uploading and downloading hex file from arduino

I updated my first post. Atmel Studio is also based off of Visual Studio by Microsoft so anybody who is familiar with Visual Studio will feel sorta at home. Plus the IDE and the plugins are both free. However, this small size and easy to use Windows software freezes. Personally I have not been able to work with it on my Win 7 laptop.

I'm not really one newbie in Arduino world. This has two interests. It saves you time on uploading and it allows third parties to upload a program without using the Arduino IDE. You should not need it every day but I will show you the method to generate the HEX file and upload it to an Arduino microcontroller. You can find the name of the file in the console of the IDE during the compilation or the upload. You can copy this line to the command prompt to upload the program to the microcontroller.

Normally its about Pins, if you have mentioned some pin higher than 13 than this error generates. So check your code please. Sorry, but the title is somewhat misleading. This way it looks like you are downloading hex file from Arduino itself to the PC. In that folder search for your respective file and you easily get the hex file of your code. Thank You www.
