I recently purchased my Jolida and it is marked JDA and it is a bone stock unit from Jolida, not the version that is being modified buy Parts Connexion. I haven't heard a modified one yet but the stock one is no slouch and does the things that are claimed for the modified one. The player images quite well for a CD player as well. The JDA is a departure from most high end machines: it shuns the expected Burr-Brown D/A converters in favor of Philips chips. This is totally intentional. JoLida's design goal with the JDA was to build a CD player that was very linear, thus very listenable.
