Daerim Warehouse 大林倉庫 / Seoul
今回は韓国・ソウルにある大林倉庫カフェを紹介します。
I am going to introduce you to a café in Seoul / Korea, the name is Daerim Warehouse.
聖水洞（ソンスドン）という今おしゃれタウンとしてソウルで人気を集めているこの街にあるカフェ。
駅から歩いて数分でレンガ作りの倉庫が見えてきます。
見た目がカフェっぽくないのでご注意を！
ソウルっていうより少しNYっぽい雰囲気です。
The café is in the Seongdong area which is becoming popular these days with young people for being trendy.
Walking a few minutes from the Seongdong station you can see a brick warehouse.
From the outside it doesn’t look like a café so you could easily miss it.
It resembles more New York City than Seoul.
倉庫を改築して作っているだけあって天井が高くとっても広くって開放的な空間です。
エントランスで入場料を払って中へ入ります。（入場料の中に飲み物代が含まれています。）
でも土日だけ入場料がかかるみたいなので、時間にゆとりのある人は平日がおすすめです。
They renovated the warehouse to a café and that’s why it has a high ceiling and a wide open space.
The entrance fee (only payable at the weekend) includes 1 drink. So if you have time I recommend that you go during the week and avoid the weekends.
中に入るとすぐに目に飛び込んでくるどーんと大きなアート作品が展示されていたり、それはもう広々としていて大きく二つのフロアに分かれているので、自分の好きなポジションを見つけて座れます。（ちなみに二階にも少量のスペースと屋上にも座れる場所があります。冬以外は良さそう♪）
中庭のような場所があったり、いたるところから木が植えられていたり、自然も感じつつアート作品も眺められるおしゃれな空間です。知れて良かった。
On entering you will see a huge work of art.
The large café space is divided into 2 sections so you can get a good position to sit (there are more seating areas on the 2nd floor and the roof terrace)
There is a garden area inside the café and some plants, I loved the combination of art and plants it gave off a good vibe.
I was happy to be there.
午前中に行ったので、混んでいませんでしたが、人気のカフェなので、広々としていても席が混み合う事も。
I visited in the morning so it was not very crowded but as it’s such a popular café at times it could be difficult to get a good seat.
３度目の韓国でしたが、６年ぶりという事もあって新鮮でした。
これから出張等で行く機会が増えそうなので、カフェをたくさん開拓していけたらと思います。
It was my 3rd visit to Korea but as it was 6 years since my last visit I felt like a first -timer.
As I will go to Korea on a business trips I plan to visit a lot more cafes.
