She brings a strong business acumen to the table, having worked in a leadership capacity for a wide spectrum of organizations. Kathrene has also shared her experiences as a guest speaker at universities and special interest group forums.


Her background encompasses directing several Boards and volunteer committees, including her three-year term as the President of a Chicago-area Chamber of Commerce. During her tenure as the Executive Director of Arts Bridge, a business incubator for arts and culturally-oriented small businesses, she received the international Athena Award for Outstanding Business Woman of the Year. She received her B. Kathrene is pleased to call Southern California and the Coachella Valley home.


Kathy is a seasoned business and operations professional with expertise in transformational leadership. She was an active member of the facility leadership team, and led efforts in learning and growth strategy. As Director, Human Resources for Independent Energy Solutions, she led all transformational activities to deliver performance, structure and results.


To provide authenticity, Banta, director Kathrene Wales and members of Chameleon worked closely with the residents of St. Martin DePorres shelter for homeless women and children in the Woodlawn neighborhood. Bryn Mawr Ave. Clark St. Halsted St. Tom Mula directs.


She brought to the Company a commitment to authentic presentations of traditional African dance and a vision of developing and nurturing new work rooted in African, African American and Caribbean traditions. Her style of dance is centered in natural rhythmic movements based in and informed by traditional African dance and movement of the African Diaspora, with an emphasis on the Caribbean, as well as traditional jazz and dance theater. Payne is an esteemed master teacher who has inspired dance artists and students around the world.


That same year he was hired by Columbia College Chicago, as a full-time assistant studio manager, overseeing the new lighting studio. He was made full-time tenured faculty member of the department in His year teaching career included teaching undergrad and graduate-level photography courses as well as beginning and advanced studio lighting courses.


In his later years, he taught a course in Performance Photography. In Bill began photographing dancers, following the first request to help a neighbor.


By his practice of photographing dancers branched into studio shoots. In the summer of , Bill began a personal studio shoot project, which involved dancers improvising in pro-bono dance shoots. Links Hall offered Bill a photographic residency in where he was able to photograph approximately 40 dancers in solo portraits. This project is ongoing.


To date, Bill has photographed approximately dancers for this project. Every participating dancer receives images at no cost. The dancers are free to use their photographs to promote their careers.
