Can you cross realm nalak
No BMAH isnt cross realm but it is cross faction. Yes Sha can be there but is gold capped usually within seconds. Also unless youre swimming in gold and cap is nothing to you, I dont get why anyone would spend it on a mount thats farmable ingame. Fully agree on the gold saving you can do with a low pop with this stuff, and normally I would also agree on not spending a cap or a high amount or a mount, but sha and a handful of others are an exception, because with 1 in 2.
Run up stairs towards the monks. Wait about 20 seconds. Collect quest. Voidie died in the action, but I brought him back from the dead, good as new. I'm not sure if it was voidie keeping his attention away from me that gave me the time or not, but it worked.
So maybe this is harder for those who have no pets, but I was pleasantly surprised. Was it the pet who helped me here, or was it my running up the steps? Anyone know? I'll need to do this same Q with a few other toons with no pets, so I expect I'll see then, but Comment by hodrain Neat hunter trick, semi unrelated - if you use Eagle Eye on the uppermost tower in the middle of the outside of ToT, you can see another Nalak flying around the back portion of Throne of Thunder.
Comment by whyzzim As of patch 6. I just soloed him easily as an ilvl Discipline Priest by kiting him to the entrance of ToT, getting 8 guards attack him you can pull the guards by his aoe lightning. It took about 5 minutes for the guards to kill Nalak. Edit: It should also be easy to do the Black Prince's quest this way, just remember the add hits hard so don't let it near you. Comment by Adalwolfa1 Soloed a few nights ago at ilvl without any help from the ToT guards and using a spirit beast to tank him.
It's a lengthy fight my kill took about 16mins but pretty simple solo, just need to stay at max range so you don't take damage from Static Shield and if you run out of range before he finishes his cast of Lightning Tether it won't be applied to you. I actually managed to coin roll the mount too which was awesome :D. Comment by Kandiyva Killed Nalak using the Shado-Pan Enforcers to assist me, and was not awarded any type of loot, thought i was able to bonus roll.
Raid info did not list me as locked to him either. Slayed him again, and still no loot. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Comment by AmberBacchus Seems bugged at the moment.
I saw Nalak killed maybe 15 minutes ago, now he's just flying circles around the island, avoiding his spawn point and when trying to attack, it just says "invalid target" "You cannot attack that target. Comment by wisedada Respawn time : 15 minutes. Comment by Aleo22 Now possible to solo with assassination rogue, with Leeching poison , Shiv every 10 seconds, Combat Readiness , Feint against aoes, and obviously Conversion and Evasion.
As glyphs at least conversion , possibly that of Shiv or one of the feint too. Good luck! Comment by Steinikr Killed this as an ilvl Guardian Druid.
Besides getting rage up and spending it on Frenzied Regeneration and the occasional Maul I just stood under the boss for 10 min ca and waited until he was dead.
Didn't get any loot though, besides Stormtouched Cache that had only 22g. Comment by Dreadmure To track world bosses use an addon World Boss Status or Rarity I've tried to combine a macro for both Pandaria and Draenor world bosses, but found these addons. Comment by Mydge For those new to the Isle, and have never killed him before Don't try to dodge anything, cos you can't.
Comment by Aliandrin Unlike Huolon , he can only give you loot once per week per character. Nobody else has stated that explicitly so I figured I would. Give upvotes. I was sitting there killing him for hours wondering why nothing dropped. Get fifty alts leveled and get to it. Yes , but only past 24 hours from the creation of the character, as demon hunters are considered boosted.
On the first week of the 7. Can I bonus roll for extra loot? And get the mount? Yes , as you can see in the Journal now known Adventure Guide. But I'm sometimes getting a message that says You are not eligible to receive any loot from this boss.
You have not been charged for your bonus roll. Comment by Asylum Can someone who's gotten the Nalak Mount post how many attempts or an estimation of how many times you needed to kill Nalak before it finally dropped.
It would really be helpful! Comment by Onomatopoeia Anyone else notice changes on the spawn timer since 7. It seems like the roughly every 15 minutes timer changed to a wildly varying minute range with many more spawns happening at the back half of the range. Comment by ggregt If you want to depress yourself and see how many times you've killed Galleon , Sha of Anger , Nalak and Oondasta in attempts to obtain their impossible mounts, you can can use this script to see kills by world boss.
Comment by kc4vdx He flies in so good luck trying to tag him from the ground. You CAN get the mounts from the bonus roll, and you get the bonus roll item for Timeless Coins currency farmed on the Timeless Isle. Comment by codegs Is there a way to pull the boss as rouge? Pistol Shot and Between the Eyes are both too short of range.
Comment by Berbe It seems to spawn each 10 to 15 minutes. So don't count on those 15 minutes Comment by Hyrcyne If you're like me and you're interested into the six world bosses that drop mounts, then let me help you. I've written this guide so that people can effectively farm those mounts on a weekly basis.
Updated in Shadowlands 9. This will keep track of the respawn timers of the world bosses, and other rares that can potentially drop mounts such as Huolon or the Zandalari Warbringer s. You can also share the data with other people using the addon, or get data shared to you. Very useful to have and it allows you to do other things such as watching a show, without living in the fear of missing a kill. Another addon that I like is Rarity. This will keep track of the attempts you have on a boss.
Once you're done downloading those addons, launch the game and think about which characters are going to farm these mounts. I have an army of alts, but since I don't want to spend too much time camping those bosses, I have chosen a few characters that are level 50 that I use specifically for this purpose. This will give you a quick access to Pandaria, where four of the world bosses are located. Finally, the last step needed before actually killing the bosses, is to get some bonus roll coins.
You can obtain both of those under an hour killing Gulp Frog s on Timeless Isle around 64, Once you're done killing frogs, go check Mistweaver Ai before leaving the island and buy 20 Mogu Rune of Fate. This will allow you to bonus roll on both Nalak and Oondasta. Those will allow you to bonus roll on Sha of Anger and Galleon. You are now prepared! Bosses Here's the list of all the world bosses that drop mounts, their locations, and additional info: Sha of Anger spawns in Kun-Lai Summit at 54, 63 and drops Reins of the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent.
He spawns every 10 to 20 minutes , and there's an animation on the ground that appears a couple of seconds before he spawns. He yells something that you can hear in the whole zone when he's active.
You need to be at least level 35 to loot this boss. Killing him will award you with Settle Down, Bro. He spawns every 15 minutes. You can hear from across the zone Chief Salyis yells '' Loot and pillage, bwhahaha! You will get Extinction Event from defeating him.
As of 8. While this is very frustrating, there's nothing you can really do and if you're a hunter looking to tame Oondasta, please do so when there's no one else waiting for the boss.
Downing Oon will get you Millions of Years of Evolution vs. My Fist. He spawns every 10 to 20 minutes right in front of the Throne of Thunder raid entrance. He spawns in the sky, and can sometimes be hard to target right away. Hunters are also able to tame this guy in Shadowlands. He shouts '' I am born of thunder! Rukhmar spawns in Spires of Arak at 37, 39 and drops Solar Spirehawk. She spawns every 15 minutes next to one of Skyreach 's platform on the mountain's side. She is usually flying across the zone when unpulled.
Otherwise, you can pull her from the ground with a range ability from 34, 36, but I would suggest waiting on the ground under exactly where she spawns, if it's crowded, as she'll fly straight down before dying. You can bonus roll this boss, but cannot get the mount from it, only giving you one attempt per character each week. Hunters looking to tame her should instead head inside Skyreach and tame Rukhran , saving precious time to mount collectors while also not be bothered in the process of taming.
You may need to be at least level 40 to loot this boss needs confirmation. Defeating Rukhmar also gives So Grossly Incandescent. Kraulok spawns in the middle of the desert and he only spawns when his WQ is active. He is part of the world boss rotation of BfA, which means that he's only available once every six weeks. Ion Hazzikostas : Pretty much since the second that we released Mists of Pandaria.
In terms of the first concepts, from early October through now. I would have thought that you would have actually started, at least in concept for what this raid would look like, while Mists of Pandaria was being built before release. Greg Tito : Was there anything that came with the testing or the iteration from the artists that made you change the design as it was going forward?
Ion Hazzikostas : No single big thing that jumps out. Ion Hazzikostas : Exactly. It kind of corresponds to the four separate thematic sections of the zone, the zone was in some regards designed and structured to be broken up that way. Then you come up underneath into sort of experimental, dark sinister wing, sort of the dungeons beneath the palace.
Ion Hazzikostas : He was this figure that had completely conquered Pandaria thousands of years ago and subjugated the Pandaran race and really was the Mogu tyrant when the Mogu were the ascendant power in Pandaria.
The wandering turtle on which new Pandaren players begin as the lone exception to that. Ultimately he died of old age his first time around but then was resurrected by the Zandalari trolls in their bid for power in the recent events of the 5. Greg Tito : I remember playing through that quest line.
Was that intentional to seed the event of this big raid through a memorable quest line that players did as they were leveling through Pandaria? Greg Tito : Did you also work on the world bosses that Blizzard is adding for Patch 5. Ion Hazzikostas : Yes. We have Nalak and Oondasta, two outdoor raid bosses that are in the 5. How do you think that will change the psychology of how taking down these bosses goes?
Greg Tito : That makes sense. Nalak respawns fairly frequently so in that sense I think players who want to fight him and want to defeat him will be able to. Ion Hazzikostas : In order to fight Nalak you have to have fully unlocked the outdoor progression on the Isle of Thunder.
Greg Tito : The trailer Blizzard released for this patch was a little different from your other patch trailers.
