How does awana work

I want my kids memorizing scripture and our church doesnt do awana. So should I buy the church program and run it, or should I buy the homeschool and run it at church? Handbook Time: Kids work one-on-one in small groups with a trained leader to recite verses they memorized. Leaders talk with children to ensure they understand key Bible verses that teach them how to know and follow God.
