Post by bobbie-dazzler » Tue Mar 31, am Dont put anything on your shelves for approx 7 days, the paint has to 'cure', and even though it may feel dry to touch, its still soft inderneath.


If it was a painted skirting board, it wouldnt be so bad, but as its shelves, you shouldnt put anything on them. It doesnt matter if the window is open, or the heating is on full, as that will only dry the surface quicker, but the gloss is still soft underneath. I would rather want something I dont have, that have something I dont want.

In my country Greece is existing a kind of hardener liquid that can be added in glossy or mat oil based paints and make it dry faster and the film of paint gets stronger.
