What is the difference between luck and blessings

Then, place me in a position where I can comfortably take care of my daughters as a single mom. Luck did not grant my family twenty additional years with my mom after her health took a sharp turn for the worse.

Luck is not that invested in you. No ones luck can be that consistent day in and day out. Whether you choose to feel blessed or you choose to feel lucky, you will always get back what you put into this world.

If you sow seeds of generosity, joy, peace and happiness you, and your children, will surely receive that back. If you choose to sow seeds of greed, sadness, despair and discontentment then you, and your children, will surely receive that right back, multiplied. Even though we have free will enabling us the ability to make right or wrong choices, we still have a personal God.

He knows the choices we will make and ministers throughout our life using blessings, trials and various life events to direct us back to God. Who knew before you even rolled that dice who would get the winning number?

It is not because He loves one person more than another, rather He knows what each of us need to draw us closer to Him. Even the seemingly insignificant details of our life have purpose. God is all knowing, all purposeful. I can find no support for that in the Bible. Gambling requires that all the other participants lose in order for one to win.

That is why investing is not gambling. It is risk, yes. But we use our minds, we rely on wisdom, understanding, and knowledge when we invest but only luck when we gamble on a lottery ticket.
