Why is 1.3.1 so laggy

The deco apps speed test I find is always all over the place. I typically use a different app for speed tests that will both tell me more information and seems far more consistent. I did take pictures of my computer screen along with the time. I'm unsure if there is any kind of personal data the shows up on a speed test that I should be hiding and not making public.

Try to simplify the network diagram, in other word, please connect one device to the main Deco network by wireless and run the speed test for 3 times. My frame rate appears to stay the same but the game looks like its going in slow motion, accompanied by incremental freezes that last for increasingly longer periods of time. If left unchecked the game will freeze and become totally unresponsive and will need to be closed using the task manager in Windows , doing this will result in loosing all progress after the last autosave.

Saving and quitting and then reloading the world does not fix the issue, however, closing the game entirely does fix it. With the behavior Minecraft is exhibiting leads me to believe that Java is doing some massive RAM leaking. I come to this conclusion because I've had the same exact thing happen to me using FireFox. Although Norton doesn't alert me to high Disc usage by Java probably because I may have disabled performance alert notification from Java , I am fairly certain that is whats happening.

Re: Severe Minecraft 1. I used to be able to run minecraft at around 80 fps with the highest graphics, and a 64x texture pack with no problems. It is probably Mojang not Better than Wolves. I've been talking with the guys on the IRC, they all seem to have gotten the same problem on vanilla. The game was running fine and the next thing i notice it starts to behave like a the bastard child of a slideshow and a motion picture.

I can without a doubt say it makes MC totally unplayable. I have not tried vanilla. Unfortunately I remember that from it being mentioned in a few youtube vids as opposed to it being in text, or I could ctrl-f the internets for the source : oh well.
